Our Sykesville space brings it all under one roof: a curated shop, hands-on workshops, joyful birthday parties, and a flexible space for your next gathering. Whatever you're here for, we're so glad you came.

What is Tivi Way?+
Tivi Way is a creative space and shop for kids ages 2–12 in Sykesville, Maryland. What started as the Tivi Tray — a simple surface for screen-free, mess-contained fun — has grown into a place to shop, take hands-on workshops, host birthday parties, and rent a bright, flexible space. Whatever you're here for, we're so glad you came.
What are your hours?+
Our shop is open Wednesday and Thursday 10am–2pm, Friday and Saturday 10am–5pm, and Sunday 12pm–4pm. We're closed Monday and Tuesday. You're welcome to drop in anytime during shop hours — workshops, parties, and rentals are booked ahead so we can save your spot.
What types of events do you have?+
We host hands-on craft, sensory, and STEM workshops for kids, plus seasonal events and drop-in creative fun throughout the month. You can also book private birthday parties and rent the space for showers, meetups, and gatherings. See what's coming up on our Workshops & Events page.
Are events free, and do we need to register?+
It depends on the event. Most workshops have a per-child fee and require registration ahead of time so we can prep materials and keep group sizes comfortable. Some seasonal and drop-in activities are free and open to walk-ins. Each listing on our Workshops & Events page shows the price and whether to sign up in advance.
What ages are your events for?+
Tivi Way is built for kids ages 2–12. Individual workshops and events are often geared to a narrower age range so the activity is the right fit — for example, a sensory class for toddlers or a STEM build for older kids. The recommended age is listed on each event so you can pick what suits your child.
Do grown-ups stay during workshops?+
Yes — our workshops are grown-up present, so a grown-up stays and joins in the fun. It's a chance to create alongside your child, and it means little ones always have their favorite helper nearby. If we ever offer a drop-off program, we'll note it clearly on that event's listing.
