Discover how colors work together to create bold contrast, balance, and emotion! In this Color Lab session, children will explore complementary colors and learn how artists use color to make artwork feel calm, energetic, exciting, or dramatic.

Young artists will sort colors into warm and cool color families, experiment with complementary color pairs, and create a unique painting featuring either a split warm and cool design or a complementary color composition to take home.

Ages: 5–10 (Grown-up stays for the workshop)
Duration: 45 minutes
